Paper Tigers draws a huge crown in Montana!

On Monday night, January 25th, a collaborative group of child-serving organizations in Helena, Montana hosted a public screening of Paper Tiger's. Not really knowing what the response might be, we anticipated a fair attendance. Using our various databases of connections, and setting up a Facebook page, we were happily surprised that we filled the 1,000-seat auditorium almost to capacity! We've calculated that perhaps almost 800 people showed up and were incredibly inspired by the film!

To be thoughtful, and to tap into the motivation for positive change the film creates in people, ChildWise Institute is presenting 1-hour overviews of the ACE Study (the story-behind-the story of Lincoln High) on three dates following the screening... free of charge. Another great thing coming out of this collaboration is the leader of the group calling and asking if they could brand themselves as the Helena Affiliate of Elevate Montana! ChildWise created Elevate Montana with its own identity, logo and website so that it belongs to no one, but to everyone. We didn't want it to be seen as "our" initiative, but a positive, successful movement that everyone can belong to. So, we were thrilled that this community became the first official affiliate!

The team at ChildWise feels very blessed to be part of this work. Knowing that elevating the well-being of our children is the most important thing on Earth is very motivating for us. I am deeply grateful to be among all of you MARC leaders... the true change-makers of our world!
