Dr Perry nails it. Best hour I've spent learning in a long time. Highly recommend that practitioners reflect in their respective area of influence (mine is education) as to how best to act on the imperative and what Dr. Perry, and the data is telling us.

Yes, Dr. Perry should be a part of every psychology, sociology, educational, political, or medical basic course - until we capture the needs of people, especially children in the age of the development, we're not reaching our full potential. It's such a huge loss for society, as well as for the individual. He's terrific :)
Another great video. I really believe we are entering a new era where connection and community not consumption and psychotropic drugs will be the new paradigm. I can see it on aap section on early child development and SOCAN and Harvard center for the developing child and the AAP policy statement on toxic stress. WONDERFUL!
