Family Support Awareness Month will be recognized during February 2023! This is an excellent opportunity for you to share the work of home visitors, parenting educators, and other family support programs in your community.

The Communications Toolkit is full of resources for social media messaging, media outreach, images you can use (you can add your own logo to them if you’d like), how to contact legislators and more.

Throughout February, we encourage you to recognize Family Support Awareness Month by displaying the campaign graphics in your social media cover photos, email signature and on website homepages; share the toolkit with your networks; use the pre-written social media posts and graphics; learn how to submit a local proclamation, contact your legislature via phone or email using our draft letters, sample proclamation and messaging, and submit a story about family support programs in your community.

We want to share stories from home visitors and parenting educators as well as parents/caregivers to highlight the importance of family support programs in your community. Simply record a video or an audio file and share it with us! No special equipment required.
