I suspect that the most effective kind of suicide prevention program is no program at all.  It’s just having great parents.  Kids raised by wonderful parents engage in harmful behaviors at a much lower rate than kids raised by parents who hurt their children.

Since parenting is key, shouldn't parenting education be every prevention coalition’s top priority?  Not conventional parenting education, but an entirely new kind that reaches everyone, everywhere.

Visit www.advancingparenting.org.  We are pioneering a low tech yet very effective variation on this new type of parenting education.  It’s free.  It’s effortless…and everyone gets to participate!
