Use of Primary Care PTSD screen

Hi there,

I work with the Oregon state health department - we administer Ryan White funded case management services for people with HIV. We've been working towards TIC since 2014 - and I think we've arrived at a place where our contractors are ready to actively screen for trauma in case management clients. I'm thinking about using the primary care pstd screening tool ( http://www.ptsd.va.gov/PTSD/pr...f/pc-ptsd-screen.pdf). I think our case managers, who come from both nurse and non-nursing backgrounds (and are located in community based organizations and local health departments) will appreciate that it's brief and focused on symptoms (vs events).

Is anyone out there using this tool? I'd love to hear about your experience. Alternatively, if anyone has implemented a different tool with success in similar settings/populations, I'd love to hear about it.
