I was unable to locate the link to read the actual article, and I'd be grateful for any editing which might enable that.

At the last count I was 'privy to', the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies had about 400 'Journalist members'.

When Harry Allan Overstreet wrote/published his book: "The Mature Mind: ..." [it was before the advent of television], and it not only compared 'Mature/Responsible behavior' versus immature/irresponsible behavior of individuals, he also looked at one 'institution' - journalism/Newspapers, in that book.

While a 'Free Press' is essential in a 'democracy', mature and responsible journalism is also essential to the conduct of a free press. There appears to be some concern here, about how we might learn of 'threats' to an 'informed citizenry', and other relevant factors.

I would urge all ACEsConnection.com members to share their input and concerns about this topic, especially this post and article, and any similar companion articles, etc. Thank You.
