I loved both films as well. I was particularly impacted in the first film by the Tulane social worker who gave such a beautiful description of how via empathy, we open our hearts to the stories and traumatic life experiences of our clients, but this also means when its time to close down and do self- care, their finger prints are still on our hearts. The paper tigers film was awesome and I am hopeful can create a positive energy wave to change how we treat and approach trauma not only in alternative schools but in all of our schools.
