Great question. Attending to student trauma as students return to school is so important. Thank you for your good work!

I'd encourage you to look at Mind Matters: Overcoming Adversity and Building Resilience.

Mind Matters’  lessons teach people aged 12 and up to heal from Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and other negative experiences with innovative methods based on  current research and neuroscience. These skills give individuals a way to take charge of their emotions and improve their states of mind. Participants learn to address their physical, relational, and mental health needs.

It is written for teachers and other non-clinicians to teach directly to their students. It is well within your budget.

If teachers want to learn the Mind Matters content, it is available in on-demand video classes with the developer, Dr. Carolyn Curtis, at Mind Matters Now. The classes are highly subsidized thanks to a grant we received. CEUs can be earned from participating in these classes.

Finally, Mind Matters Minutes makes the self soothing skills of Mind Matters available for free to teachers for use with their students either virtually or in person.
