I have posted before on looking for assistance with teen support group curriculum on victimization. I had the most overwhelming and appreciative responses. I am no in need of training and seminars 3-5 days with reasonable registration fees. MY program is a non profit program working with all victims of a Violent crime and Family and friends whom have lost a loved one to homicide or vehicular homicide. If you have any information of training opportunities please send them my way. Again, we are homicide and violent crime advocates/specialists and it is really hard to find training's that we can get approved to meet our State directors idea of what is appropriate. I will be honest, ACES is really just starting to be talked about in central Iowa. Some guidelines to our grants is can not be preventative, but educational. Any training on how to work with families after a not guilty verdict, violence crime training, healing and stepping outside the box with coping mechanisms. Working with children versus adults, etc. Please flood me with resources and we can sort through what would be a possible fit.
