I could have called my most recent blog post "a shoutout from the bottom 5%." At least awareness about the consequences of powerful trauma in the early life of people is opening up both information and conversation. These movements are in the right direction. But for the most traumatized of the traumatized, a nearly invisible category within which I and others reside, certain kinds of cautions are in order:
