Many communities -- including cities, counties and states -- have started groups on ACEsConnection.com to support their local ACEs/trauma-informed/resilience-building initiatives. You can check out the list and look at what's happening in these groups by going to the Groups section. They're at all different stages...some have just started, others have been going for a while and are very active. If your community wants to start a group, let me know.
Anndee Hochman has written several articles about communities that are part of the Mobilizing Action for Resilient Communities initiative (as well as profiles of the MARC advisors). All of the communities had some history before being selected for the MARC project late last year. You can find a list of her stories here.
And then there's the Community Resilience Cookbook, which has several case studies of communities (cities and states) that have started ACEs initiatives.
