I posted an item to one of today's ACEsConnection Blog titles, involving the use of trauma-informed/Risking Connection/Intentional Peer Support and crisis/respite, as an alternative to Psychiatric Hospitalization, by [at least one] Psychiatrist at the Emergency Room of our local [Ivy League] Teaching Hospital....
