Hello, To whom that may be of interest in helping our ACE kids.
My name is Sharon and I have created a Non Profit that is designed to help our Youth from the ages of 13 to 24. It is called Youth To Young Adult - Y2Y. We are in our infancy stage and have not received any donations to this date. My organizations foundation date is August of 2015. After this May we will have filed two years of taxes. This year I will be preparing a business plan that will then be presented to Executives, Big Businesses that donate and the well to do, should I say. In the business plan we will have a business, 'Restaurant' that will only hire ACE kids. and the profits will go to programs to help the younger ACE youth, such as support programs, other work training programs, funds for kids for continued education and much more. Why have I selected a restaurant is because that is were my expertise comes in to manage the restaurant and motivate our Youth.
I need help in bringing this organization to life. I first need two people to be on the board, an Assistant Executive Director and Secretary to start. In the beginning it will be volunteer work. After we receive the funds needed to open the doors, both positions will have a salary. We first need to get the funds to get started. Preferably the interested parties will be motivated and aspire to really help these kids from Adverse up bringing's. Knowledge of grant writing would be a plus. We have a lot of work to do and our suffering youth need your help!
