Do SSNR's help the child recover from trauma?

Does anyone know if there is research that show that Safe Stable Nurturing Relationships also helps children recover better after early chronic traumatization? I am looking for literature that I can use to underline that children are better of with SSRN's when they are not able any more to live with there own family.
