Deleting posts on Aces

This is what I get when I try to go back to my blog post. One of the moderators deleted my post. Then emailed me and asked if I could move it to the discussions section.

But as far as I can tell, I don't have a backup copy of it. This is very painful for me.

I would like to know how others feel about what happened to me.

And I would propose that moderators not delete posts without making a backup copy of them, or that they move them if they feel a strong need to take them out of the blog stream for some reason.
