I guess whether CBP has "been around for awhile now" depends a lot on what area you live in (I'm thinking Paul from the URL of the search request you included you're in New Zealand?), here on the west coast USA I'd be REAL hard-pressed to find any therapist who has even HEARD of the approach. It's my understanding that there's a book coming out "soon" on Guilford Press (don't bother calling them, it's not even on their radar screen yet let alone can they give a release date) titled "Reaching Across the Abyss: Treating Adult Survivors of Emotional Abuse and Neglect" and Dr. Spinazzola is a co-author (I was able to confirm this with a call to Trauma Center), and fortunately I know a therapist or two who I think would be willing to read it and maybe take a seminar when it DOES come out.
