Amazon has upended the book business, but that is good for people who want to publish and be read. The best answer is to publish yourself via Createspace.com. Createspace is a branch of Amazon. Just follow the steps and you can publish the book yourself and it becomes available across Amazon. You will have to do your own marketing but you would most likely have to do that yourself if you went to any other publisher. Make sure your work is edited by someone you don't know. That is critical. Do not publish anything without outside review. You can find people offering such services locally by just asking around, finding an English teacher, or looking on Facebook, Craigslist, etc. You'll want to get a good cover made.
