In Maine, we are collaborating on using the ACEs screen in a variety of ways with expectant families and those with young children, 0-5. Dr. Mark Rains, our ACEs guru and clinical advisor pro bono to the Maine Resilience Building Network has developed a "non-categorical" ACEs screen and dialogue which you may be interested in. Some of our other work, in additional to piloting this in the coming year in a more formal and controlled manner, is the emerging scripted dialogue to be used with parents that explores the ACEs that bother them and the impact of these upon their parenting.
