ACEs in human service providers?

Can anyone point me to any literature or share their experiences with ACEs in the professionals serving children and families who are experiencing trauma (such as social workers, homeless shelter staff, etc.)? My work in our local homeless system has made me interested in how providers' experiences of ACEs (and current traumas) impact their professional practice, their empathy for those they work with, and issues such as re-traumatization and compassion fatigue, etc. I have heard those who enter the helping professions tend to have higher ACE scores but I don't know if any scientific studies of this exist. Thanks in advance!
