I just entered the ACE Connection. I am very deligted to meet you! In 2010 I was the one who invited Vincent Felitti to the Netherlands and since that year the ACE Studies are more known in the Netherlands.
However: most colleagues and work is focused on youth, childcare , parents, school and prevention.
The Centre for Late Effects of Chronic Early Childhood Traumatization (CELEVT), where I am the founder and director, is focusing on the best possible integrated trauma treatment (both psychological al fysical and social) for adults.
I am looking for colleagues for inspiration, discussion, innovation, etc. to join our experiences and the possibility of working together.
At the moment we are making an e-learning program on the ACE Study, resilience, health costs and early screening for adults for healthcare workers, assurance companies and governmental organizations.
We are also preparing innovations for the best possible trauma treatment, research and innovation. We also tend to do public policy and for that: in the Netherlands we can learn a lot from our colleagues abroad!
