This seems like a very subjective question however, I can say that when we score a client beyond a 5, we suggest seeing a therapist. We work with women (mostly pregnant women) and send them to a therapist that is specifically trained to work through pregnancy and postpartum issues, but she is very aware of the ACEs study.
