Three area housing developments have received $16.2 million in state funds to provide new housing for homeless military veterans and their families. Record Number Of Meth-Related Deaths Reported In San Diego County (kpbs.org)
Methamphetamine abuse contributed to a record number of deaths in the San Diego area last year, according to a government study released Monday. The San Diego County Methamphetamine Strike Force report reveals there was a total of 377 meth-related fatalities that occurred locally in 2016, with an average of one death every 23 hours. California issues update on state residents' ACE scores from 2011 & 2013 surveys
The latest adverse childhood experiences survey from the California Department of Public Health shows that 42% of the population has an ACE score of 3 or higher; 16% have an ACE score of 4 or higher.
