After seven years, the San Diego Trauma Informed Guide Team (SD-TIGT) had evolved and grown significantly, as had the trauma informed movement. Shelter for homeless youth reopens (fox5sandiego.com)

The Urban Street Angels Homeless Youth Shelter is back up and running after it suspended operations because of a lack of money. Services include warm meals, minor medical help, hair cuts, showers and computer access for employment opportunities. More than 3,000 young people sleep on the streets of San Diego every night, according to Urban Angels.
