- Mindfulness Minutes/Intention
- We didn’t practice meditation; all members present were excited to discuss the Agenda.
- Education Committee Work Group
Paper Tigers: Debrief Friday, 10/14/16, Screening at Center for Spiritual Living
- What went well?
The venue was lovely. Everyone liked the set-up of water and snacks.
- How can we improve?
We will encourage the attendees to fill in the front rows.
Mary will consider what adjustments can be made to increase screen size.
Marguerite will record a voice over for the subtext information that isn’t \ legible.
- What did we learn which will support our Resilience screening?
We will check in registered guests by checking their name on the printed
Guest lists. If they have a printed ticket, we will save it, to scan after the
event. Those that are not registered, will simply sign in. This will be a swift process.
- How will we honor our attendee’s participation?
Break-out groups.
Connie will prepare a list of questions to address with the groups.
Marguerite will facilitate the Tranquility Room; available to whomever may want counseling.
The participants will fill out their ACEs quiz’ and Marguerite will tabulate the| total score of ACEs, to be announced to the participants.

Resilience: Friday November 18th, 2016 7:00- 9:00 PM
- What sectors will be invited? (create list of invitees)
- All attendees from Paper Tigers and Contact lists from various sectors will be sent an Eventbrite invitation.
- Call to Action: (Join Orange County ACEs Connection Group)
- All attendees from Paper Tigers and Resilience Screenings will be sent an invitation to join OCATF.
- November 16th Meeting be a potluck - Gratitude Gathering?
- Group members will bring movie munchies to preview the Resilience film.
- Vote on having a December 21st meeting
- All members present voted not to have a December 21st meeting.
- 2017 Orange County ACEs Task Force meeting location possibilities
- Remain at same location and contribute to $23 monthly fee; a total of $276.
- Other options
- We will announce at the Resilience screening that OCATF needs a donation in the form of a meeting space.
