California issues update on state residents' ACE scores from 2011 & 2013 surveys

The latest adverse childhood experiences survey from the California Department of Public Health shows that 42% of the population has an ACE score of 3 or higher; 16% have an ACE score of 4 or higher. Medi-Cal expanding to cover more Napa children [Napa Valley Register]

As many as 1,000 Napa County children, regardless of immigration status, could get health insurance coverage under a Medi-Cal expansion plan.
