Lancaster County ACEs & Resilience Connection (PA)

Working collaboratively with schools, business, healthcare, government agencies, social services, criminal justice systems, healthcare organizations & faith communities to become a trauma-informed community. We invite all concerned citizens, professionals & advocates to partner with us to raise awareness about trauma & its effects, to build resilience, and offer hope & healing.

Greg Kessler, VP of Health Services, Training & Education, Water Street Health Services on

Tue Oct 25, 2022, Noon - 1pm via Zoom

Greg joined the Water Street leadership team as the Vice President of Health Services, Training & Education in September, 2015. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as certified as a Clinical Supervisor and Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the state of Pennsylvania. He graduated from Messiah College with a degree in Sociology and from Moravian Theological Seminary in 2005 with a Masters degree in Pastoral Counseling. Greg is a specialist in Addiction treatment and Motivational Interviewing. He speaks regularly throughout the region at seminaries, churches, businesses, and institutions conducting education seminars on addiction.

Greg will share:

* how Water Street Ministries has gone about the work of becoming more trauma informed

* resources, supports, tools, and processes they’ve found helpful

* lessons they’ve learned in their trauma-informed journey, and

* Ideas and advice they’d offer to other organizations in earlier stages of this process
