Question: Please share examples of innovative uses of existing funding to address ACEs and trauma. For example, Mental Health Services Act has a funding category called "Innovative Projects" which might be a way to fund ACEs and trauma related efforts. Hello: I'm a recent MPH graduate who is interested in working on ACEs. The more I learn about the effects of trauma and chronic stress, the more it changes my worldview and makes me want to do something about it. Part of the reason why I moved to California in 2019 was to get involved in the incredible work that you're doing around ACEs. Hi Kevin, reach out to me contact@drbconnections.com Check out Www.drbconnections.com There's tons of work to do, and not enough people trained thoroughly to do it. We might be able to help you get connected and launched in the field of Trauma Informed Care and Resilience (TICR), which requires a deep understanding of Adverse Childhood Experiences.
