What does a public health approach to preventing and healing trauma look like? This statewide initiative may have an answer.

Public Health Advocates and UCLA Center for Healthier Children, Families and Communities are partnering in an initiative to create a more trauma-informed California. Using a public health approach, ACT/CA will directly address Adverse Childhood Experiences and the impact of community trauma on well-being. Partners will identify and develop toolkits for addressing trauma, as well as embed education and evaluation into the initiative's mission and outcomes.
