California PACEs Action

WEBINAR June 10 - How communities & CBOs can advocate for spending COVID relief dollars [phadvocates.org]

California’s cities and counties are receiving $16 billion in relief funding through the American Rescue Plan Act. The first half of the money is arriving this spring, and local elected officials across the state are beginning to discuss how they will spend it. It's critical that community members and community-based organizations advocate for funding to support their greatest needs.

We are holding two webinars to walk you through this important process. On both dates, we will discuss:

  • How the money should be spent to improve community health & racial equity (including specific ideas)
  • How you can advocate locally to make sure the money goes to the right places
  • How community-based organizations can access the funding

Sign up here to attend on June 10th from 6:00PM to 7:00PM PDT.

The event is brought to you by: California COVID Justice: Recovery, Response, & Repair – an initiative of Public Health Advocates.
