Read CYW's 2014 Annual Report [CenterforYouthWellness.org]

ACYWThe Center for Youth Wellness (CYW) was started only three short years ago with one big dream—to ensure all children have a fair shot to grow up with health and well being. At CYW, we recognize that Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) can lead to toxic stress and lifelong problems with health, wellness and learning.

Thanks to your support, CYW is growing in leaps and bounds, making significant strides in raising awareness about ACEs as our country’s most overlooked public health crisis. I am happy to share our 2014 Annual Report, which will provide you with an overview of CYW’s accomplishments and financial health.

As I reflect on last year’s accomplishments, I am humbled by how much we have achieved. A few highlights include: streamlining our wrap around suite of services by providing patients with nursing case management; forming the Bay Area Research Consortium on Toxic Stress to explore and validate an ACEs screening tool, physiological biomarkers and evaluate clinical interventions to treat toxic stress; hosting California’s first summit on ACEs, and the release of two widely read policy reports
