New CDPH COVID-19 Health Equity and Multilingual Resources Web Page

By: Jessica Lin
Public Health Strategist, CDPH Fusion Center
COVID-19 affects all Californians, but marginalized communities and groups at higher risk for COVID-19 are more severely impacted. To make COVID-19 health equity-related information easier to find and use, CDPH has created a new webpage to collect and organize vetted COVID-19 communication materials available in different languages as well as other materials for specific populations, such as older adults and tribal communities.
Rather than serving as a comprehensive catalog of COVID-19 resources, this site aims to be an organized, targeted, and regularly updated collection of predominately CDC and California state materials for easy access. This webpage itself is currently in English and is therefore designed for a target user of stakeholder organizations, local health departments, and community-based organizations who work closely with community members. Content includes general health information, resources for working and living safely such as running errands and childcare, getting help such as accessing food resources or support for the homeless, and ways to help others during the pandemic.
Please visit the COVID-19 Health Equity and Multilingual Resources page to explore available resources and please share the link widely with organizations and individuals that may benefit.
Feedback and content recommendations for the site are welcome. Please share comments with Jessica Lin at Jessica.Lin@cdph.ca.gov.
