If your work touches the lives of children and families impacted by domestic violence, we welcome you to join the Quality Improvement Center on Domestic Violence in Child Welfare (QIC-DVCW) for a national conversation where we will challenge ourselves to take action and accountability toward advancing racial equity in multiple systems – so that every family experiencing domestic violence and child maltreatment can get real help.

Let's Be Real will take place on Zoom on March 2, 2021 at 10 am PT | 1 pm ET.
On March 2nd, the Quality Improvement Center on Domestic Violence in Child Welfare (QIC-DVCW) will host Let's Be Real, a national conversation about the critical importance of advancing racial equity to help families involved in the child protection system who are impacted by domestic violence (DV). Black and Indigenous children are over-represented in child welfare nationally, while Latinx children are over-represented in the system in more than 20 states.
We will set the session in motion with a community resiliency-building exercise. Then, together with our special guest faculty, we will engage in critical conversations around the need for leadership and accountability to advance racial equity work within domestic violence programs, child welfare, courts, and other agencies and community organizations across the U.S.
