"Four Good Days" movie inspires "Addiction. No Shame" webinar with true addiction experts — the people portrayed in the film, plus Dr. Gabor Maté

Have you ever suffered from the shame of addiction or at a complete loss about how to help someone you love who is struggling with addiction?

More than 200 people are dying every day from drug overdose, according to the CDC — 81,000 each year, most due to opioids. The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism says that 23 million adults ARE struggling with substance abuse.

Join us on June 23 for a real and honest conversation that will enlighten, inspire and leave us feeling connected, loved and hopeful!

Our guests include Amanda Wendler and Libby Alexander, who are the real mother and daughter portrayed by Glenn Close and Mila Kunis in the new film Four Good Days. Also joining the conversation are Dr. Gabor Maté, author of In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts, and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Elis Saslow, whose article, "'How's Amanda?' A story of truth, lies and an American addiction", inspired the film made by Director Rodrigo Garcia.
