Dr. Rhea Boyd to present at the MBK Sacramento Trauma and Healing Learning Series

 

Dr. Rhea Boyd, a Bay Area pediatrician and health equity advocate, will present at the My Brother's Keeper, Sacramento Trauma and Healing Learning Series. This virtual event is scheduled for Thursday, October 29 from 10:00 AM PST- 12:30pm.

Dr. Boyd will address racism in service providing fields, with a focus on health care settings, a topic she has written about and archived at her website, rheaboyd.com. After her presentation, she will be in dialogue with Dr. Tiffani Johnson, a pediatrician at UC Davis Medical Center who is also a scholar and advocate on issues of health equity, as well as the impact of racism on child health.
