Cal OES Seeks Requests for Proposals for $2M in Domestic Violence Assistance Program

 

 California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), Victim Services & Public Safety Branch, Domestic Violence Unit issoliciting proposals for the Domestic Violence Assistance (DH) Program for 2018-19.  The DH Program provides local assistance to existing domestic violence service
providers throughout the State for comprehensive support services, including emergency shelter to victims of domestic violence and their children. The Program also provides support for the development and establishment of domestic violence services to unserved and underserved populations, including, but not limited to, rural areas, non-English speaking individuals, persons of color, and various geographical areas without services.

Approximately $2,000,000 is available for the DH program through the State General Fund.  Applicants may apply for up to $500,000 for a 24-month Grant Subaward performance period beginning January 1, 2019, and ending December 31, 2020.
