The short version: David Morris writes a sort of history of PTSD. He goes to the VA and doesn't get better. It was interesting for the history but tremendously frustrating when he writes about his treatment.

Mac McClelland writes a memoir of PTSD, including some history. She considers the gendered nature of trauma. Also, she gets better.
