It is disappointing that family practice organizations, like most other medical specialties (other than pediatrics), has no policy standards or training requirements dealing with child maltreatment or other family violence and their life long pathogenic effects nor with trauma informed care. This conference is very much needed. Please note upcoming conference on trauma informed medical education by the TIHCR community on PACESConnection.
