PACEs in Youth Justice

Discussion of Transition and Reentry issues of out of home (treatment, detention, sheltered, etc.) youth back to their families and communities. Frequently these youth have fallen behind in their schooling, have reduced motivation, and lack skills to navigate requirements to successfully re-enter school programs or even to move ahead with their dreams.

Systems Integration: Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice

This resource from the National Center for Juvenile Justice focuses on how policies and practices addressing the challenges posed by dual-status youth in both the child welfare and juvenile justice systems have changed within the past decade. It explores the current national landscape in regards to this subject and explores how many states coordinate state data sources for cross-system information sharing, as well as how many provide a framework for coordinated policy and practice to improve case outcomes.
