Wednesday Meditations (www.rickhanson.net)

@Gail Kennedy let me know about these weekly meditations because she knows I'm a fan of Rick Hanson. If you'd like to try some free meditations followed by Q&A discussion you can find out more below (or here).  The copy is from the Rick Hanson e-newsletter.

Much research has shown that meditation is a powerful way to develop greater resilience, compassion, and happiness - so I thought you’d be interested in the free Wednesday Meditations I'm offering online.

Everyone is welcome, and no background in meditation is needed. I draw on modern psychology and brain science, as well as the penetrating and pragmatic teachings of the Buddha.

For the next several months, I’m focusing on the theme of
refuge - the people, activities, inspiration, and wisdom that protect and nourish us . . . needed more than ever in these turbulent times. Next week, on July 1, I’ll explore practical ways to deepen your sense of calm and inner peace.

We start with a guided meditation at 6 pm Pacific time, followed by a talk and Q&A, and ending at 7:30. We use the Zoom platform - just click a link to join - and my portion is recorded so that you can listen to it at another time if you like.

If you would like to join me
for these sessions, please click the button below and sign up to get access and weekly email reminders.

I'll be doing these every week and look forward to seeing you!

Warmly,

Rick
