This is a workshop for Yoga Teachers and Healing Practitioners on the basic tenets of Trauma Informed Yoga led by Julie Johnson, M. Ed, ATS, RYT 500.

The first half of class will be an introduction to best practices in trauma sensitive yoga and why it's important to embed a trauma informed approach into your classes and mind-body interventions.

The second half of class will be a 45 minute hatha flow group practice. Get live experience of what a Trauma Sensitive Yoga Class can feel like followed by 15 minutes of mindful reflection and discussion.

About Julie Johnson:

Julie Johnson is a master networker, educator and trauma informed body practitioner. She has her M. Ed in Special Education and Accessible Technology with a specialty in Universal Design for Learning. She founded a Social Emotional Learning Intervention team in the school system in St. Louis County with the support of Natasha Baebler, MAT-E-RYT. She has been practicing yoga since 1998 and has gone on to complete her RYT 200/500 and an additional 100 hours of Trauma Informed Yoga training from Zabie Yamasaki, Hala Khouri, Uprising Yoga and the Trauma and Embodiment Center as well as her Reiki Master Certification. She founded Integrate Network in 2014 when she was trying to find trauma informed providers for her own healing and students in the school system.
