1/21  Trauma Awareness Training   (Saturday:  9:00 am - 11:30 am)

This trauma-awareness training was developed by Alive and Well StL. The training is free and open to the public.

Location: Glen Carbon Illinois Public Library.

The training will address the impact adverse childhood experiences can have on development, daily living, and adult life outcomes. The objective is to change the question from what's wrong with our loved ones/students/patients, to what happened to them.

Delivered by P. Denise Long, Educational Psychologist, Psychiatric Occupational Therapist, Alive & Well StL ambassador.

Hi Jenny,

Yes, I noted the address issue today and corrected it. That school road address is the one given with Google search and listed as the Centennial Library...no idea how that happened since that library has been in the same location for years (and why I didn't notice it the first time).   Thanks.  I will keep you updated on events not scheduled for Saturdays. 

Denise, I'm not able to attend because I have classes on Saturdays, but please let me know of other events that you have in the metro-east area.  I'm a school social worker in the Edwardsville School District.  I can be reached at jmulvihill@ecusd7.org.  Also, the address for the Glen Carbon library is listed incorrectly (that address is for the Glen Carbon Heritage Museum).
