Southern Oklahoma Poverty Summit: Remediating Poverty in the Workplace

Ardmore Behavioral Health Collaborative invites you to take part in a community workshop by Bridges Out of Poverty National Facilitator Treasure McKenzie. Not only will you learn about the complexities of poverty and the effect it has on our workforce, but you will learn how community action can help people move toward economic security and in turn strengthen our workforce.

Treasure McKenzie is the director of Muskogee Bridges Out of Poverty, which was named Bridges Community of the Year in 2016. Treasure also served as the President and CEO of the Muskogee Chamber of Commerce for 4 years and under her leadership the Muskogee Chamber was awarded 7 Redbud Awards by the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department. Treasure truly understands communities like Ardmore and the unique workforce challenges.

Breakfast and Registration begins at 8:00am

The interactive Bridges Out of Poverty workshop will be from 8:30 to 12:30 and lunch will be provided.
