The Center for Judicial Excellence, in partnership with Peace Over Violence, is pleased to announce a sensational Pacific Coast weekend opportunity that will foster learning, inspiration & connection. Our Journey to a Safe Harbor: Protective Parents at the Beach activities begins on Friday evening with the Champions for Children's Justice Awards Reception. Join us as we gather together to honor and to celebrate a few exceptional individuals. The Saturday conference entitled: Trauma-Informed Practices: Protecting Child Survivors of Domestic Violence & Sexual Abuse in the Family Courts will provide an insightful exploration into surviving and addressing the crisis in the family courts.
The purpose of the weekend is to provide an opportunity for protective parents, domestic violence advocates, legal and mental health professionals, policy makers and anyone who cares about child safety to learn and connect. We aim to come together in a way that will inspire meaningful systemic change. We envision a system that effectively focuses on child safety as the number one priority in child custody litigation cases.
