  • In the early trauma treatment, we thought cathartic approaches of retelling the traumatic story would be enough.

    •  However, inevitably, the child or family would request tools in the here and now to move past talk and into action.

    •  We found the answer to this question through what we call trauma or “wound playbooks.” Wound playbooks are strategic directives used by the family to actively heal the unresolved trauma in the here and now.

In this webinar you will learn about:

    Undercurrents -

    •  The core patterns in the family that cause the child’s trauma (e.g., unforgiveness, unresolved grief, family secrets, abandonment, lack of nurturance) and

    •  How healthy undercurrents are converted into wound playbooks to heal the child and families trauma in the here and now.

The Value of Trauma or Wound Playbooks -

    •  How the undercurrent–playbook combination: (a) moves the trauma focus from a child-only problem to a family problem to fix together; and (b) provides both the child and family with a clear plan to heal the trauma within a family systems framework.

How Wound or Trauma Playbooks Are Custom Designed And Used -

    •  We will show you how to use a strategic directive or task like “an apology” and create a wound playbook using a who?, what, when?, where?, and how? framework.

From this clear plan, the family can then practice their playbook delivery through dress rehearsals/role-plays and a troubleshooting countermoves checklist or a Plan B if something goes wrong.
