Engaging Allies in the Culture of Health Movement

On November 9, 2017, the National Academy of Medicine will host the second public meeting of its ongoing Culture of Health program. The NAM’s Culture of Health program is a multiyear collaborative effort funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Objectives of this meeting are to:

  • Visualize health through the lens of art and communities

  • Illustrate links across social determinants of health via the science and lived community experience

  • Highlight recent movements that have resulted in positive change

  • Identify challenges and solutions in creating a culture of health

Join us immediately following the meeting for an evening reception, featuring artwork submitted for our nationwide community art project, Visualize Health Equity. The reception will be hosted from 5:20-7:00 PM.
