Empowerment & Self-Defense for Asian and Pacific Islander Americans

We don't have to tell you that verbal and physical violence against A/PI people are spiking. Join us to get more skills for keeping yourself safe.

You'll learn:

  • The 5 basic elements of boundary-setting
  • How to bring the temperature down when someone is escalated
  • 2 simple physical strikes for the worst-case situation

and more!

NOTES: This workshop is led by an Asian American trainer. It’s for Asian and Pacific Islander people. If you’re white or non-A/PI BIPOC and want to help, please join us for our workshop on Active Bystander Skills for Stopping Anti-Asian Hate (registration is above).

Who: Open to women, trans men, and nonbinary/gender nonconforming people, age 16 and up, who identify as A/PI. Maximum enrollment is 30.

When: Sunday, April 11, 4-6 pm Eastern.

How: The workshop is free; registration is required. Donations are accepted to cover our costs. Please let us know when you register what accommodations you may need (such as ASL or Spanish interpretation) or email us.
