Community Engagement: Refugee-Focused Collaboratives - Post webinar discussion

The webinar (held Jan. 19) offered a presentation of how effective messaging and trauma informed care practices contribute to a healthy and welcoming environment for refugees. Taking an in-depth look at a welcoming environment, the Post Webinar Discussion will explore the Refugee Forum of Los Angeles’ community engagement strategy. Furthermore, the Post Webinar Discussion will have an interactive component, in which we will be highlighting several of your questions and experiences for the subject matter expert to address.*

We encourage colleagues from all disciplines and roles to attend each activity. We would like to extend a special invitation to those communities currently developing or planning a refugee-focused forum or multi-disciplinary collaboration to participate in the Post-Webinar Discussion by registering and submitting a question or comment for our subject matter expert.

Join the discussion to hear from national colleagues, converse with our subject matter expert, and learn how to best build partnerships in your community. *When registering for the Post Webinar Discussion, simply include your question or idea on the registration form. If your submission is chosen, NPCT will contact you for further details.
