Trauma is a deeply distressing or disturbing experience that without supports can have long-term negative effects. PACEs Coalitions that attend this training will understand the importance of collaborating with community partners to implement peer support groups, like "Getting Ahead with the ACEs Supplement", to meaningful engage families that do not have strong social supports. With intentional efforts, coalitions can directly improve outcomes while strengthening the family and the community together.
