Canadian Peer Mentorship Program-Transforming the Stress & Stigma of Parental Substance Use

An 8 week peer Mentorship program for Canadians 18+ who want to use their experiences with the stress and stigma of a parent's substance use to lead transformation within society, their community, and/ or themselves.

This program is designed for those affected by the stress and stigma associated with a parent's substance use (addiction). Our aim is to empower participants to harness their narratives for positive change. Attached is the program agenda, outlining the enriching sessions we have planned.

Our lineup of guest speakers and workshops promises an engaging and transformative experience, including:

Facilitator Agnes Chen: Exploring healing-centered engagement for leveraging personal narratives in driving change.
Robyn Solulier Richot of Eagle Medicine Coaching: A coaching session centered on community building.
Gayathri Shukla: Delving into the art of storytelling.
Manvinder Gil: Advocacy techniques to amplify individual voices.
Panel Discussion: Insights from peer leaders in the community.
