All of the guides are available at www.yolokids.org/forfamilies . There are some hard copies of the following guides and we would love for them to get into the hands of parents. Through IMPACT, YCCA is providing coaching for family, friend, and neighbor child care providers using the Nurturing Parenting Curriculum. This course seeks to provide support and training to caregivers of children, including parents, foster parents and family, friends, and neighbors in the community who provide child care. There will be 1:1 support, activity bags, and Covid-19 training. There are still a few spaces available in the Spanish Woodland training (please see the attached flyer).

Starting on March 23, 2021, Family Nurturing Program virtual classes will be offered in English and Spanish. These classes are open to any parent or person doing childcare in the community, including license-exempt. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Nancy Ledesma (her contact information is in the flyers).

We have a few families that speak Farsi in Yuba County, can I share this opportunity?

New IMPACT/ NPP class- this class is a pilot of the Nurturing Families Program for Farsi families and caregivers. Although the focus is on West Sacramento, any Farsi speaking caregiver in Yolo County may join. The class will be facilitated in collaboration with a WUSD Farsi speaking liaison.
